Director of Employee Benefits

Idarmis Losada

Idarmis Losada has been an integral part of IBIS for the past 15 years. She is a licensed insurance agent specializing in Life, Health, and Annuities, driven by a passion for helping her clients safeguard their families’ futures. With over 25 years of industry experience, she possesses the knowledge and expertise to guide clients through the insurance buying process, addressing their unique needs. Idarmis is dedicated to assisting with all insurance requirements. Throughout her years in employee benefits, a significant portion of her time has been devoted to Benefit Operations and the day-to-day functions of employers through a PEO relationship. 

Outside the office, she takes pride in being a mother to four boys who share her love for sports and outdoor activities.

Sr. Manager – Underwriting and Vendor Management

Peggy Sugrim

Peggy Sugrim holds the role of Sr. Manager – Underwriting and Vendor Manager. Her responsibilities include marketing large group key accounts and collaborating with account executives to devise tailored solutions for clients. Starting with an associate degree in business management, her career journey began in accounting then by chance transitioned into group benefits. What she finds most fulfilling is team collaboration. Professionally, Peggy stands out due to her ability to craft innovative solutions, pinpointing the right carriers and benefits that align seamlessly with our clients’ overall benefits package.

On a lighter note, when Peggy is not in the office, she is going to the movies or volunteering as a judge at her daughter’s high school debate tournaments.

Account Executive

Mayra Loynaz

Mayra Loynaz is an Account Executive at IBIS. Her role involves selling, effective communication, and problem solving. Mayra also focuses on building trust and relationships by providing cost-effective benefit solutions tailored to clients’ and employees’ needs. Mayra started with employee benefits in the insurance industry in the early 2000’s with OHS/CompBenefits. She then received her insurance license and worked in various areas including Medicare and as a Commercial Sales Executive. Mayra’s years of experience, passion, positivity, and dedication motivate her to find great fulfillment when working with clients and helping others.

Mayra is a huge animal lover and is a mother of two wonderful daughters, and two lovely granddaughters. She is also related to famous Cuban historical figures, including poet Dulce Maria Loynaz and General Loynaz de Castillo, a famous general during the Cuban War for Independence.

Connie Oropesa

Connie has over 25 years of experience in the benefits industry.  A dedicated, strategic & results-oriented account executive specializing in consultative renewal, selling & best-in-class service.  Overseeing client management responsibilities for group benefits in medical, wellness, dental, vision, life and disability. She works closely with our clients and internal partners to offer strategies to drive solutions, ensure contractual obligations are met and manage new client and renewal implementations, all while dedicated to the journey of delivering perfect service.

Support Specialist

Lauren Diaz

Lauren Diaz services all direct IBIS accounts that pertain to employee benefits, oversees administration, renewal strategy and implementation, and special projects within Salesforce. Before working in the insurance industry, Lauren’s career began in hospitality and restaurant ownership, where she learned the importance of the “customer first” mindset. What sets Lauren apart is her entrepreneurial background and enthusiasm for technology. She actively explores new tools, enhancing efficiency and providing internal training to optimize the use of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms. In addition to these skills, she’s held an insurance license for over 15 years and is a licensed realtor in Florida.

On a personal note, Lauren is a passionate animal lover and has a small feline family of five. She also has three daughters.

Employee Benefits Compliance Specialist

Leinora Eady

Leinora Eady is an HR professional with over 15 years of experience in Leave and Benefits Administration, as well as Benefits Compliance. She has worked across diverse industries, including call centers, long-term care, technology, and PEOs. Her expertise spans FMLA compliance and regulations, benefits compliance requirements, and in-depth understanding of benefit plans and carriers.

Excited to take on her new role as a Benefits Compliance Specialist, Leinora looks forward to ensuring adherence to evolving legal requirements.

Guided by the golden rule, she values kindness and empathy in all aspects of life. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her children, being with family and friends and going on walks appreciating nature.
